The SF Series Flotation Cell is designed for mineral flotation applications that require reliable air intake and consistent slurry circulation without auxiliary air supply systems. It is commonly used in beneficiation circuits for metallic and non-metallic ores where stable separation performance is critical.

The cell draws air and ore pulp spontaneously through its mechanical configuration, allowing flotation to occur without external blowers. A double-blade impeller generates sufficient agitation to keep coarse sand suspended at the bottom of the tank, while the fore-raking tank design supports smooth foam return and reduces the risk of sediment buildup.

This operating approach supports efficient separation with relatively low power consumption. The impeller operates at a lower peripheral velocity, which contributes to extended service life of wear components such as the impeller cover plate. Upper and lower double slurry circulation paths help maintain uniform particle suspension throughout the tank.

The SF Series is well suited for operations that benefit from horizontal tank arrangements and simplified flotation circuits, as no foam pump is required. This configuration supports flexible plant layouts while maintaining reliable flotation performance.

These flotation cells are typically applied in roughing, scavenging, and cleaning stages for a wide range of ore types, especially where coarse-grain suspension and consistent air dispersion are important.

The technical data below outlines effective tank volume, tank dimensions, impeller size and operating speed in revolutions per minute (RPM), slurry handling capacity, motor power, air suction rate, and unit weight to assist with equipment selection.

If you are planning a new flotation circuit or refining an existing one, we can help review sizing, layout, and configuration options based on your material characteristics and throughput goals.

This table details SF Series Flotation Cell specifications, including tank volume and size, impeller dimensions and speed, slurry capacity, motor power, air suction rate, and single-tank weight.
