This thickener is designed for solid–liquid separation in processing plants handling concentrate and tailings slurry. It is commonly used in metallurgical, chemical, coal, non-ferrous mineral processing, and environmental protection applications where stable dewatering and water reuse are required.

In operation, slurry is introduced into the thickening tank where solids settle under gravity while clarified liquid overflows for reuse or discharge. As solids accumulate at the bottom, the thickened underflow concentration can be increased from approximately 20–30 percent up to about 40–70 percent, depending on material characteristics and operating conditions.

The NG Series uses a peripheral traction design with running rollers, a configuration typically adopted for large-scale thickeners. This structure distributes load evenly and allows the system to tolerate roller slippage under overload conditions without requiring special safety devices. The thickening tank is generally constructed from reinforced concrete for long-term structural stability.

Electrical power is supplied through annular nodes arranged on the central support. Current collection joints with sliding rings connect to the arm brace, allowing power to be safely delivered to the drive motor through cables routed along the arm structure.

This thickener is well suited for operations seeking higher underflow concentration, reliable continuous operation, and reduced water consumption across large-capacity processing circuits.
