The ZPG Series Disk Vacuum Filter is built for solid–liquid separation where vacuum provides the driving force for filtration. It is commonly used to dewater iron concentrate, copper concentrate, sulfur concentrate, titanium concentrate, and other nonferrous and nonmetallic concentrates, as well as tailings streams where consistent discharge and predictable moisture control are important.

In operation, slurry is presented to the rotating disk assembly, and vacuum draws liquid through the filter media while solids form a cake on the disk sectors. As the disks rotate through the cycle, the cake is dewatered and then discharged in a continuous process. This layout supports steady throughput while keeping the footprint relatively compact compared with many alternative dewatering systems.

For plant operations, the value is straightforward: continuous filtration helps stabilize downstream material handling, reduces variability in cake moisture, and supports water recovery for reuse. The rotating disk and sector design also makes it practical to scale capacity by selecting filter area and disk configuration that matches the circuit.

This filter is a strong fit for concentrator and tailings dewatering duties in mining and mineral processing plants, especially where you need reliable operation with a smaller installed area and you want filtration sizing options across a wide range of filter areas.

The technical table below lists filter area options and the matching disk plate size, number of plates and sectors, rotation speed, motor power, overall dimensions, total weight, and capacity ranges. Use it to compare configurations by required throughput and available installation space.

If you share your concentrate or tailings characteristics, target cake moisture, and required capacity range, we can help you narrow the configuration and discuss how the ZPG disk vacuum filter integrates with your slurry feed, vacuum system, and discharge handling.

Use this table to compare ZPG disk vacuum filter configurations by filter area. It lists the matching filtering plate diameter, number of plates and sectors, speed in RPM, installed power, overall dimensions, total weight, and the stated capacity range for each filter area option.
