The MRN pendulous hanging grinding mill represents a modern upgrade in grinding technology, developed to reduce operating costs while improving grinding efficiency, product consistency, and environmental performance. It is designed for processing non-combustible, non-explosive brittle minerals with Mohs hardness below Grade 7 and moisture content below 6 percent.
The system is commonly used for materials such as limestone, calcite, marble, barite, feldspar, talc, bauxite, phosphate ore, dolomite, granite, coal types, kaolin, bentonite, and similar mineral products used in construction materials, mining, and industrial processing.
Grinding is performed using large-diameter rollers supported by a pendulous hanging structure. A thin oil lubrication system is applied to the grinding roller device, eliminating the need for frequent manual lubrication while improving bearing life and reducing maintenance effort. This oil bath lubrication method supports continuous, stable operation.
The grinding chamber design removes the traditional shovel blade cylinder structure, increasing internal ventilation area and reducing airflow resistance. Combined with high grinding force from large-diameter rollers, this layout directly improves grinding efficiency and material throughput.
Operational stability is reinforced through a volute elastic damping structure that isolates vibration between the host and base. Rubber shock pads and elastic connections reduce vibration transmission, protecting the powder concentrator and structural components from fatigue and cracking.
The main shaft and transmission system use a fully automatic diluted oil lubrication method. Bearings and gear engagement surfaces receive continuous circulating lubrication and heat dissipation through an integrated oil pump system, ensuring consistent operating conditions without manual intervention. Integrated temperature monitoring devices for the main-shaft bearing and reducer oil system provide real-time condition awareness and automatic low-temperature protection.
Material flow is optimized through a groove shovel flow channel and a mesh-type grinding roller hanger, which together improve material conveying efficiency while reducing airflow resistance. A low-resistance hanging cage powder concentrator enables narrow particle size classification with lower system energy consumption compared to traditional blade-type classifiers.
The MRN Series is well suited for operations upgrading from older grinding equipment where efficiency, reliability, and reduced operating cost are priorities. The technical data below outlines available MRN models and key operating parameters. Capacity values are shown in tons per hour (TPH). Our team can assist with model selection based on material characteristics, fineness targets, and plant requirements.
