The CT Series Wet Magnetic Separator is designed for wet magnetic separation where slurry-based material handling is required. It is commonly used in mineral processing plants for recovering magnetite, as well as for dewatering and de-ironing non-metallic ores prior to further classification or grinding.
The system consists of a rotating separator drum, an internal magnetic system, a separator tank, a transmission assembly, and overflow devices for material feeding and discharge. Depending on the material flow direction and separation objective, the separator can be configured in current style (S), counter-current style (N), or semi-countercurrent style (B).
As slurry passes through the magnetic field generated by the drum, strongly magnetic particles are attracted to the drum surface while non-magnetic material flows away with the slurry. Adjustable magnetic angle control allows operators to fine-tune separation performance based on ore characteristics and recovery requirements.
This flexibility supports efficient recovery across a range of operating conditions while maintaining stable performance and low wear. Units can be installed individually, in series, or in parallel to match plant capacity and layout constraints.
The CT Series is best suited for rough or fine separation of strong magnetic minerals smaller than 0.2 mm, particularly in magnetite beneficiation circuits and non-metallic material purification applications.
The technical data below provides model-specific information including drum size, operating speed in revolutions per minute (RPM), throughput capacity in tons per hour (TPH), motor power, and overall equipment dimensions to support proper equipment selection.
