The CTL Series Dry Magnetic Separator is designed for primary magnetic separation in mining and aggregate operations where early-stage upgrading can significantly reduce downstream processing costs. It is commonly installed at the head of a belt conveyor, allowing material to be treated in-line before entering crushing, grinding, or milling circuits.

During operation, material passes over a rotating magnetic roller equipped with a rare-earth permanent magnet system. Magnetic particles are attracted and separated from non-magnetic material as the belt moves across the roller, enabling continuous dry separation without the need for water or complex auxiliary systems.

This approach improves overall plant efficiency by increasing feed grade, reducing unnecessary load on mills, and lowering operating costs associated with wet separation and material handling. The simple mechanical structure supports reliable performance with minimal maintenance requirements.

The CTL Series is well suited for operations handling low-grade iron ores, where pre-concentration improves beneficiation efficiency, as well as non-metallic materials requiring de-ironing prior to further processing. Magnetic field strength can be selected based on ore characteristics to match separation requirements.

The technical data below outlines available roller sizes, operating speed in revolutions per minute (RPM), capacity in tons per hour (TPH), installed motor power, and overall equipment dimensions. These specifications help determine the appropriate model based on material characteristics, throughput targets, and available installation space.

If you are evaluating dry magnetic separation as part of a new plant design or an upgrade to an existing system, we are available to discuss material behavior, configuration options, and customization considerations.

This table lists standard CTL Series models with corresponding roller dimensions, operating speed, throughput capacity, overall equipment size, motor power, and unit weight.
