The hammer mill is designed for coarse crushing and grinding where high throughput and controlled particle size are required. It is commonly used to produce coarse powder and fine sand, with more than 90 percent of finished material typically falling within the 0–3 mm range, depending on configuration.

Material enters the mill and is subjected to repeated impact from high-speed rotating hammers. As the rotor turns, material is struck, accelerated, and broken against internal liners and hammer edges until it is small enough to pass through the discharge opening. This impact-based process is well suited for brittle and medium-hard materials.

The machine is built for continuous operation with a simple mechanical structure that supports stable performance and uniform particle size distribution. High crushing ratios are achieved while maintaining relatively low power consumption, helping balance output capacity and operating efficiency.

Hammer mills are widely applied in metallurgy, mining, chemical processing, cement production, construction materials, and general industrial operations. They are particularly effective where coarse powder production or small sand sizing is required ahead of further processing.

The technical data below outlines available HM Series models, including rotor dimensions, operating speed, feed and discharge size, and processing capacity. Capacity values are shown in tons per hour (TPH), and rotational speed is shown in revolutions per minute (RPM). Our team can assist with model selection and configuration based on material properties and production goals.

The table below provides specifications for HM Series hammer mill models, including rotor size, operating speed, feed and discharge limits, theoretical processing capacity, motor configuration, and overall dimensions.
