Material is fed into a reinforced crushing chamber where a moving jaw applies compressive force against a fixed jaw plate. This motion breaks material along natural fracture lines, producing a controlled discharge size suitable for downstream impact or cone crushers. The optimized cavity geometry and high-strength components allow stable crushing under continuous load.

This design improves crushing efficiency while reducing operating strain on wear components. Larger bearings, integral cast steel housings, and a durable moving jaw assembly extend service life, while hydraulic and mechanical adjustment systems simplify setting changes and routine maintenance.

The PEW Jaw Crusher is well suited for operators processing basalt, granite, river gravel, marble, iron ore, copper ore, slag, and similar hard or abrasive materials.
